Jill Schilling grew up on a farm in Abbotsford, WI. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree from UW-Eau Claire and a law degree from UW-Madison in 1983. She fell in love with the Eau Claire area as an undergrad and decided to permanently relocate here after law school. Jill is an avid sailor and takes many summer trips to Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. She also enjoys bicycling and cross-country skiing. She made the trek to ski the Birkebiener, albeit very slowly, for over 10 years.
